Travel Requirement: 25% (Domestic)
Security & CitizenshipU.S. Citizenship is required. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. DoD Secret clearance; active security clearance required after day 1.
What You Will Do- Ensure assembly operations readiness and flawless execution of test vehicle plans, builds, teardowns, and inspections.
- Interface with CIPTs (Component Integrated Product Teams) and Systems engineers to ensure assembly requirements are met on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with assembly support groups (Assembly Operation, Process Engineering, Tooling Services, Magic Shop, Clean Line, and Inspection).
- Lead assembly process improvement teams and act as focal point within Assembly Operations for assigned programs.
- Contribute to ongoing projects including the Next Generation Product Family engines for the BA, Neo, Embraer, and Irkut programs, along with advanced, operational commercial and military engine programs.
You Must Have:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience in testing and validation.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience leading validation engine projects and guiding teams.
- Proven ability to lead major validation projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with continuing improvement tools (ACE/CORE) to drive process improvements and customer satisfaction.
- Ace Associate certification is preferred; working towards ACE/CORE Practitioner certification.
- Familiarity with PC-based systems; experience in Team Center and SAP.
