NDT Inspector - 2nd Shift; onsite

Onsite, 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday 3:00pm – 11:30pm

• Perform Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) on aerospace case parts to identify defects.
• Clean and process parts using the FPI Booth.
• Inspect internal case structure with inspection equipment.
• Prepare and complete inspection documents, reports, and stamping of work instructions for acceptability of parts.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, quality lab, operations, and materials personnel as needed.
• Review work instructions, repair operation requirements, and blueprints.
• Utilize inspection tools, including FPI Booth and fixtures.
• Assist the Level III Quality Engineer in developing specific test techniques.
• Comply with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Programs Policy.

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Priority consideration to internal candidates and members of specified local unions.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office programs; SAP experience is a plus.
• NDT Level2 certification.
• One year of related experience or education in various NDT methods.
• Experience in aviation component repair preferred.
