Civil Lead Project Engineer

Wright-Pierce is an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure. We are seeking a licensed Civil Lead Project Engineer to join our company.

Salary range: $85,000 - $140,000 per year. Final salary is based on education, experience, certifications, and location.

• Perform engineering calculations and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Direct junior engineers in execution of technical tasks
• Perform technical reviews of civil engineering design documents
• Lead design of stormwater management systems, streets, roadways, and site improvements
• Develop engineering proposals and presentations
• Project management

• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Personal organization and time management skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with co-workers
• Committed to continual learning
• Excellent attention to detail

• 6-10 years of experience in civil engineering
• Experience with hydraulic modeling software (e.g., ICPR, HEC-RAS, Hydro Cad, SWMM)
• Experience with surface water hydrology
• Experience with open channel, gravity pipe, pressure pipe flow hydraulics, and pump station design
• Experience with environmental resource permitting

• Professional Engineer License required

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field
