What You Will Do
- Support the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to meet task and technical requirements and budget for all hardware and tasks.
- Prepare and present status and technical content to IPT Lead, CIPT & upper Pratt & Whitney management.
- Work closely with the Integrated Product Team and authorities on hardware field investigations to drive root cause and recommend product improvements.
- Evaluate product improvement opportunities and initiate process changes or support ESTO for Class II Engineering Changes.
- Support the Integrated Product Team in performing risk assessments and developing mitigation plans.
- Travel up to 10% (Domestic and International).
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with 5+ years of engineering experience, OR an advanced degree in a related field with 3+ years of engineering experience.
- U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience working in the Aerospace Industry and jet engines.
- Previous gas turbine compressor experience.
- Hands‑on experience with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, Smartsheets/Jira/Confluence.
- U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Security clearance is not required.
- U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.
Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in‑service support of all fan low‑pressure and high‑pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.

Onsite:
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Salary range for this role is $86,800 USD – $165,200 USD. The range is a good faith estimate representing all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
