SUMMARY OF THE JOB

Liberty Bank is seeking a Sr Salesforce Functional Developer to help design, build and support scalable, high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform, including Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and integrations via Mule Soft. You’ll work closely with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to create meaningful experiences that empower our bankers and improve customer relationships. In this strategic role, you’ll work within the technical Salesforce Center of Excellence to translate complex business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient Salesforce solutions—all while ensuring alignment with Liberty Bank’s enterprise standards and delivering measurable business impact.

We’re looking for a senior technical resource with deep Banking and Salesforce expertise with strong communication skills. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to the lines of business to articulate and champion design thinking, shaping Liberty’s digital transformation journey and enabling teams to succeed with the Salesforce Platform.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Configure the Salesforce platform spanning multiple complex initiatives, while maintaining day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and maintain custom solutions on Salesforce using Flows and Omni Studio. Basic knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) is preferred but not required.
  • Be involved in the architecture & technical planning process for new & existing features, participate in code reviews, unit testing and deployment processes using Azure Dev Ops.
  • Stay abreast of Salesforce updates and best practices and recommend introduction of new technologies and processes.
  • Support integration with enterprise systems in collaboration with enterprise data and integration resources.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support data migration, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and data inconsistencies.
  • Ensure adherence to Liberty Bank’s security, compliance and change management standards.
  • Demonstrate integrity and authenticity in your everyday interactions.
  • Work with Liberty’s Salesforce Solution Architect and internal Center of Excellence team members to support QA processes, review test plans, test coverage and help improve testing procedures.
  • Monitor and report on system performance and data quality.
  • Mentor Salesforce Center of Excellence team members, ensuring quality deliverables.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/

SKILLS:

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development/configuration experience using Financial Services Cloud or Sales and Service Cloud.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce products and best practices, with experience optimizing CRM platforms for business transformation.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other cloud-based systems using REST, SOAP, API, etc. and data migration tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of proper Dev Ops practices, deployment processes and release pipelines.
  • Experience working with third‑party integrations and APIs.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Experience in agile development and project methodology strongly preferred.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or years of commensurate experience is required.
  • Experience in the banking industry is strongly preferred; financial services industry or a highly regulated environment is secondary.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator, or Salesforce Platform Developer I (preferred).
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial services, including privacy and data security policies.
  • Ability to travel is needed to coordinate with external partners and attend industry events or training.
