Branch Manager - Stanley Access Technologies, Middletown, CT

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Legally authorized to be employed in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High School diploma required.
  • 5+ years of experience managing people.
  • 5+ years of experience owning a P&L.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Construction/Service business.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Creative problem‑solving abilities with a strong passion for driving process improvements and results.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to grasp technical aspects of products and programs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
    365, Astea, Smart Sheet is a valued add‑on.
What You Will Do
  • Foster positive relationships across departments including Field Operations, Sales, Manufacturing Operations, Finance, Engineering, etc.
  • Resolve conflicts within the branch and, when necessary, escalates issues to the Regional Manager and Human Resources.
  • Adhere to business code of conduct guidelines and act as a model/mentor to associates in the branch.
  • Monitor and adhere to Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements and procedures.
  • Oversee and direct the activities/operations for all branch personnel.
  • Responsible for employee performance planning/reporting, overseeing/maintaining OSHA logs, payroll processing, and approval of branch personnel expense reports.
  • Manage all workers’ compensation claims and participate in depositions pertaining to claims against the branch.
  • Conduct hiring, discipline, and termination of personnel.
  • Ensure branch personnel receive required training (e.g., AAADM Certification, additional training as needed with Boon Edam, BEA, CJ Rush, etc.).
  • Oversee EH&S web‑based training and ensure technicians have updated manuals for any installed equipment.
  • Enforce policies through HR guidelines.
  • Meet technicians on‑site to ensure job installation complies with AAADM and company policies.
  • Coordinate the purchase and disposal of all fleet vehicles with Fleet Services, ensuring policies are followed and managing vehicle damage claims.
  • Participate in weekly Field Manager’s Call, BI Call, Weekly Sales Call, and oversee forecast/reporting for accuracy.
  • Manage and drive productivity projects to completion while maintaining project timelines and budget.
  • Oversee all fixed and recurring branch costs, manage the Branch P&L.
  • Conduct site visits in the field with technicians and customers, and meet with the sales team to evaluate jobs.
