* What You Will Do:

** The
** Senior Material Analyst - 2nd Shift
** will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule while managing a team of hourly employees. The Senior Material Analyst will work closely with operations, supply chain, engineering, and quality to ensure assembly and test requirements are fully supported.
* Coordinate material kitting in support of assembly floor need, working closely with the on-campus Forward Stocking Location (FSL) and remote warehouses.
* Utilize Lean principles to establish world-class Materials Flow/Synchronization within the value stream.
* Support shortage management process
* Oversee materials/logistics issues.
* Coordinate with Engine and Module Assembly to ensure parts are available when needed.
* Participate in making allocation/priority decisions on critical hardware.
* Utilize/operate Andon system in support of assembly floor requirements.
* Support efforts to drive cost & lead time reductions.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years' experience in a materials, supply chain/logistics, shop floor or similar environment or a Master's degree and minimum 3 years’ experience in a materials, supply chain/logistics, shop floor or similar environment
* Knowledge of logistics, operations, inventory management, and/or supply chain
* Experience with Enterprise Planning Resource (ERP) and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software. SAP highly preferred
* Experience with Microsoft office:
Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
** Qualifications We Prefer
*** Working knowledge in SAP
* Continuous Improvement problem solving background.
* Degree in Business/Supply Chain/Engineering Related Subject preferred.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, to meet deadlines
* Project management and operations experience
