Role type:
Onsite – employees work primarily on-site for production and maintenance functions.

- Providing direction to skilled CSMC bargaining unit employees
- Leading employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts
- Leading sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction through the system’s various elements
- Performing daily supervisor responsibilities, project management, effective communication, and execution with support group members, including management of hourly employee attendance and approval of timecards
- Establishing work schedules considering customer requirements, resource availability, and other priorities
- Providing leadership and direction with an emphasis on team building through daily toolbox meetings, effective communications, and developing an efficient team responsive to production requirements and changes
- Working dedicatedly to address issues and engaging the workforce in achieving cell goals
- Demonstrating 100% dedication to Quality, Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and SPS (Standard Production System), and understanding the ability to drive quality and customer satisfaction through the CORE operating system
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, or Business with 5 years experience; or an advanced degree with 3 years experience in specialized knowledge or technical/operational practices and/or shop environment experience
- U.S. citizenship required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Experience in a leadership role in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Experience working with all levels of management and in a union environment
- SAP user experience
- Highly self‑directed, quick learner, with a strong drive for results
- Experience with Continuous Improvement principles (lean manufacturing, Core, QCPC, etc.)
