Raytheon - - Responsibilities:
Follow assembly drawings and specifications to prepare parts and build subassemblies, modules and accessories for new gas turbine engines;
Use mechanic's hand tools, holding fixtures, and specialized assembly equipment to build engine sections and perform installation of details;
Obtain parts, check details for conformance to assembly requirements and fit and measure components to assure overall dimensions are within limits;
Provide related support for test operations and assist with testing under direct supervision and specific test schedules;
Perform similar duties to assist with co-producer, customer support or other similar programs, retrofit projects and to accommodate new engine programs and assist with changes in specifications
