Clean Room Associate

The Clean Room Associate assembles and cleans parts used in medical devices while working in a controlled cleanroom environment. This role involves detailed, hands-on work with small and medium-sized components, using hand and power tools, and following strict cleanliness and quality standards. The position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, a reliable work ethic, and a willingness to learn and follow direction.

Responsibilities
  • Clean small and medium-sized parts used in medical device manufacturing according to established procedures and cleanliness standards.
  • Assemble small components with precision, ensuring all parts fit and function correctly.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to support cleaning and assembly tasks.
  • Perform basic manufacturing inspection of parts and assemblies to identify defects or irregularities.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Support team members by contributing to a positive, cooperative, and efficient work environment.
  • Adhere to all cleanroom protocols, including proper gowning procedures and handling of materials.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with cleanroom standards.
  • Report any issues, defects, or equipment concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
Essential Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong interest in hands-on work.
  • Ability to assemble small pieces with accuracy and care.
  • Ability to clean small and medium-sized parts following defined procedures.
  • Experience using hand and power tools in a safe and controlled manner.

  • Basic manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
