Raytheon - - Responsibilities:
Follow assembly drawings and specifications to prepare parts and build subassemblies, modules and accessories for new gas turbine engines where tooling and process methods are established;
Assist with engine test operations and perform component and accessory tests as assigned;
Obtain parts, check details for conformance to assembly requirements and fit and measure components to assure overall dimensions are within limits specified;
Use mechanic’s hand tools, holding fixtures, and specialized assembly equipment to build engine sections and perform installation of details and maintain equipment and tooling for assigned areas;
Provide related support for test operations and assist with testing under direct supervision and specific test schedules
