What You Will DoCompressions Systems Module Center (CSMC) is seeking a highly motivated, technically talented individual, who has a true desire to lead and coach in a dynamic operations environment to support our Special Process / Shared Services business units. You will lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction. In conjunction to daily supervisor responsibilities, project management, effective communication and execution with support group members is critical to the department’s success.
This role reports to the Operations Manager (Business Unit Leader) and will be supporting 2nd shift operations. Typical working hours are 2:30 PM – 12:
AM, Monday – Friday. Training is available and may be required on our 1st shift for up to 3 months.
- Provide guidance and direction to skilled bargaining unit employees within assigned cell area.
- Lead employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction.
- Perform daily supervisor responsibilities including project management, effective communication and execution with support group members.
- Establish work schedules taking into account customer requirements, resource availability and other priorities.
- Provide leadership and direction with an emphasis on team building through daily toolbox meetings, effective communications, and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and changes.
- Demonstrate a 100% dedication to Quality, Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and continuous improvement.
- Understanding and ability to drive quality and customer satisfaction through our CORE operating system (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence).
- Advanced degree and 5+ years of experience in Military, Manufacturing, Business Operations Management, Engineering, Aerospace or Aftermarket industry; OR Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma or Military / Technical Training and 12+ years of relevant industry experience
