At Aero Flow Technologies, we specialize in creating complex tube and duct assemblies using high-performance materials capable of withstanding extreme pressure, temperature, and chemical interactions. You can even find our products aboard NASA's Space Launch System and in the F-35 fighter jets. That's the level of quality and innovation you'll be part of when you join our team. Continuous Improvement & HSE Manager provides cross-functional leadership to drive operational excellence, a zero-harm safety culture, and regulatory compliance across our aerospace manufacturing operations.

This role blends advanced Lean Six Sigma methodologies with aerospace health, safety, and environmental standards to eliminate process waste, reduce ergonomic and operational risks, and maintain the integrity of our high-precision manufacturing processes.

So, what will you be doing as a Driver and Shipper/Receivier:
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
  • Develop and expand local capabilities in applying continuous improvement tools, including 6S, Kaizen events, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Set-up Reduction, Standard Work, and Visual Management specifically tailored to high-mix aerospace production lines.
  • Identify, coordinate, and lead improvement initiatives to optimize production, quality, and safety. Analyze processes across departments to isolate waste, bottlenecks, and structural inefficiencies.
  • Facilitate cross-functional project teams, workshops, and Kaizen events to drive structural operational improvement.
  • Ensure all process optimization initiatives strictly align with AS9100
Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) Management
  • Implement and maintain safety programs aligned with regulatory (OSHA, EPA) and organizational aerospace standards.
  • Conduct proactive risk assessments (Job Hazard Analyses), incident investigations, and routine safety audits across specialized production lines.
  • Promote a site-wide safety culture through targeted training, transparent communication, and direct leadership engagement.
  • Collaborate directly with quality and compliance teams to ensure all continuous improvement activities are fully aligned with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Act as an organizational change agent, ensuring the sustained, long-term adoption of process improvements and safety practices.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influence; proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and TPM methodologies
  • Leadership, mentoring, adaptability, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge of incident investigation and root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5-Why, fishbone)
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements (OSHA recordkeeping, EPA reporting)
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations management, or related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, 5 years of relevant professional experience required
  • 5+ years in process improvement, operations, and safety management.
  • Proficiency with electronic QMS and ERP systems.
  • This role is based primarily on the manufacturing floor with regular exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and materials handling areas. Requires the ability to stand/walk for extended periods, wear required PPE and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Occasional travel may be required.
