Notes:
Traveler will work on both addiction medicine unit and withdrawal management/detox unit. Will work one unit or the other depending on the day (not flex back and forth during one shift). Residential accepts clients after they have completed a detox or for those using substances that do not require a detox. Clients must be voluntary, independent r/t self care.
On 3rd shift nurses give PRNs, check FBS for diabetic clients and give any meds scheduled for 6am but there is no formal med pass.

Withdrawal management is a subacute/residential unit that accepts clients needing detox from alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines. Clients must be voluntary, independent r/t self care and not require IV medication or hospitalization/bedside nursing.
On 3rd shift nurses monitor VS for ETOH/BZO detox clients, give PRNs, check FBS for diabetic clients and give any meds scheduled for 6am but there is no formal med pass.

Requirements:
- Must be a state of CT licensed RN
- 1 year acute care.
- EPIC experience and behavioral health experience preferred.
