Summary:

The primary function of the advanced practice provider (APP) in Critical Care is to provide care to and management of CCU patients under the clinical supervision of the Critical Care Medical Staff. The APP will work collaboratively with the physicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants (MAs), and front-desk staff to support patients within the Critical Care (CCU) unit.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MSN, Graduate of Nurse Practitioner Master’s Degree Program or Physician’s Assistant Program
• Current BLS Certification
• 2 years clinical experience, preferably in a CCU field
• Obtain and maintain privileges at Middlesex Health

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years clinical experience, preferably in a CCU field
