Our Middletown, CT office is looking for an ambitious ScientistI to join our growing environmental team.

As a ScientistI, you'll gain hands‑on experience contributing to site development and remediation projects that improve the community's environmental health and resiliency. What you do
  • Conduct field oversight and documentation for various environmental tasks, including drilling, groundwater sampling, site assessments, and remedial activities
  • Conduct field sampling of environmental media, including soil, water, air, and waste materials
  • Oversee drilling and remediation subcontractors on‑site
  • Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, and laboratory analysts
  • Manage environmental data and laboratory results using Microsoft Excel
  • Review soil, water, and air data from commercial laboratories and compare results against regulatory criteria
  • Interpret field and laboratory quality control (QC) data, including blanks, control samples, instrument calibrations, and chromatograms, to ensure data quality objectives are met
  • Preliminary preparation of technical reports for investigation and assessment activities
What you bring
  • 0–4 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data filtering/sorting, pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formatting)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
Salary Range

55,000.
