As an HVAC Installer, you will install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes, ensuring high‑quality workmanship, code compliance, and customer satisfaction. Your strong technical skills, attention to detail, and customer‑centric approach will be instrumental in delivering top‑tier installations and contributing to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer instructions to properly install equipment.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical connections.
- Test new installations to ensure proper operation, airflow, and overall system performance.
- Collaborate with the sales team to confirm scope of work and ensure a seamless customer handover.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site, protecting customer property throughout the installation process.
- Communicate professionally with customers, explaining the installation process and system operation upon completion.
- Identify and report any additional repair or replacement needs discovered during installation.
- Complete installation paperwork, permits, and documentation accurately and on time.
- Stay up‑to‑date on the latest HVAC equipment, installation techniques, and building codes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while operating tools and equipment.
- Participate in regular safety meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer, preferably within the residential sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and electrical/refrigerant connections.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools related to HVAC installation.
- EPA certification (Universal preferred).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to customers.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in tight spaces, and perform work at heights.
- Self‑motivated and driven to succeed, with a proactive and results‑oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
