Apartment Maintenance Technician - Immediate Work | Middletown & CT Shoreline

Location: Middletown, CT & Surrounding Areas/New Haven/New London
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

The Liberty Group is hiring Apartment Maintenance Technicians for immediate opportunities throughout Middletown, New Haven, New London, and the Connecticut shoreline.

Depending on the property and your skill level, responsibilities may include:

• Apartment turns and make-readies

• Completing resident work orders

• Basic plumbing repairs

• Basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting

• Drywall, patching, and painting

• Fixture, hardware, and appliance repairs

• Preventative maintenance

• Grounds and common-area upkeep

• General property repairs

• Previous apartment, residential, hotel, facilities, or building maintenance experience

• Comfortable using hand and power tools

• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge preferred

• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot common maintenance issues

• Reliable transportation

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to pass required pre-employment screening

HVAC and EPA certifications are a plus, but not required for every opportunity.
