Join a team dedicated to helping young adults build confidence, independence, and skills for the future! Adelbrook Transitional Academy provides a supportive, community-based learning environment for young adults ages 18–22 with autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. Through individualized programming, hands-on vocational training, and social-emotional learning, students gain practical skills for real-world success and independent living.
Our Transitional Academy focuses on helping students explore their strengths, develop workplace readiness, strengthen daily living skills, and build meaningful connections within their communities.
As an Educational Support Counselor, you'll: support students in developing vocational skills, workplace behaviors, and community readiness; assist with job training, community-based learning experiences, and career exploration opportunities; provide guidance with daily living skills and promote greater independence; collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to support individualized goals; help students build confidence, social skills, and self-advocacy skills for life beyond school.
