Responsibilities include:
* Transport students and faculty as scheduled.
* Drop off vehicles for regularly scheduled maintenance.
* Refuel and ensure cleanliness of vehicles at end of shift.
* Other duties as assigned.
This is an on-campus position working up to 20 hours per week for approximately eight (8) months. Most driving remains within the state of Connecticut.
Shifts Include
* Nights (630pm-1030pm or a)
* Weekends and some holidays are required
* Occasional daytime shifts for field trips and special events
Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
* Must have a valid CT driver's license (minimum 3 years) and clean driving record.
* Must be flexible to accommodate fluctuating schedules of student groups.
* At least 3 years of driving experience.
* Experience operating 12 passenger vans and 14 passenger mini coaches.
Preferred Qualifications
* 5 years of driving experience,
* Experience transporting students,
* Passenger endorsement.
