ALC FREIGHT INC is looking for a skilled and dependable CDL A Truck Driver to join our team running Fed Ex Express routes out of Middletown, CT. • Operate Class A tractor-trailer on local and regional Fed Ex Express delivery and pickup routes
• Safely transport freight in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs
• Load, unload, and verify freight for accuracy and proper handling
• Maintain on-time delivery performance and uphold Fed Ex service standards
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and terminal staff regarding route updates or issues
• Keep cab and equipment clean, organized, and in proper working condition

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required
• Must meet all DOT physical and medical certification requirements
• Clean MVR with a safe driving record
• Minimum 2-4 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused work ethic
