Responsibilities
Follow established procedures: prioritize picking older dated orders to prevent items from becoming outdated or delayed. Notify relevant personnel or departments when items for picking cannot be found. Thoroughly review all job and customer orders to confirm the accurate picking and issuing of all items listed on job and customer orders.
- Promptly inform leadership of any errors identified during the picking process, especially if items for picking cannot be found.
- Achieve and sustain a high rate of picks per hour with minimal errors. Provide clear and timely information to avoid delays in the fulfillment process.
- Identify and report units that are currently unpickable. Coordinate with the fulfillment team to resolve issues affecting pickability.
- Ensure timely issuance of materials to support assembly operations.
- Identify, report, and collaborate with the team on any operational issues or discrepancies promptly to address and resolve the issues as they arise and to avoid delays in the fulfillment process.
- Perform duties and tasks while observing all safety protocols.
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by area Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by performing general housekeeping duties as needed.
- Work and communicate efficiently with all co-workers.
