A professional opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) specializing in early years programs, working within an elementary school setting. This contract position, located in Wilmington, Delaware, is focused on providing behavioral support to students with moderate to severe cognitive challenges. The role requires on-site presence and is designed for the school calendar year, with a start date as soon as possible through June 12, 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students with moderate/severe cognitive disabilities.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate behavioral strategies within the classroom setting.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
  • Provide training and guidance to school personnel and families on behavior management techniques.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school district policies and state regulations.
Qualifications
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Delaware state licensure; experience in school-based settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment and intervention strategies.
  • Ability to work full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Commitment to working on-site exclusively to support students directly within the school environment.
Location
  • On‑site in Wilmington, Delaware, within an elementary school focused on early years programming.
