Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Middletown, Delaware
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026/2027 academic year. In this full-time position, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 10-20 adolescents, providing them with expert behavioral guidance and support. The primary objective is the effective implementation of individualized behavioral intervention plans, as well as assuming responsibility for conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)-a role transitioning from the school psychologist to the BCBA.

Candidates with national certification and strong leadership skills will thrive, especially those who excel at mentoring educators and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You'll be instrumental in both supporting students directly and equipping teachers with practical strategies to uphold behavioral interventions successfully in the classroom.

Qualifications:
  • Active BCBA certification and national certification required
  • Experience providing behavioral services in school settings, ideally with high school populations
  • Proven ability to conduct and implement FBAs and BIPs
  • Skilled at training and guiding teachers in behavioral plan execution
  • Strong case management skills, including effective communication and documentation
  • Availability for a panel interview (flexibility in scheduling preferred)
  • Ability to commit full-time (35-40 hours per week) throughout the academic year
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize the implementation of behavioral intervention plans for students
  • Conduct FBAs and develop BIPs, coordinating with school staff as needed
  • Deliver ongoing support directly to students
  • Train and consult with teachers on behavioral strategies and best practices
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with school and national standards
This is an exciting chance to make a measurable impact in students' lives while collaborating with dedicated professionals. If you are ready to bring your expertise and enthusiasm to a new environment, submit your interest along with your availability for a panel interview today. Your next great opportunity awaits!
