Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high-quality lessons in our retail store. In this student-focused role, you'll teach individual and small-group lessons, create engaging curricula for various instruments and skill levels, and prepare students for performances and auditions. You'll collaborate with store staff to support rentals, accessories, and school programs, and maintain accurate schedules and progress records.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and follow lesson plans and curricula tailored to student goals and abilities
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and auditions
• Assess student progress and communicate feedback to students and parents
• Maintain accurate lesson schedules, attendance, and progress records
• Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, accessories, and lesson enrollment
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and student-focused learning environment
• Support community outreach and school music programs as needed
