Position: Right of Way Project Manager - New Jersey

Overview

Location: New Jersey – Remote (must reside in New Jersey)
Schedule: Full-time, Exempt
Travel: 25% (includes travel in New Jersey and Delaware)
Compensation Range: $110,000 - $130,000
Sign-On Bonus: Available

You’ll provide right-of-way support for:

  • The Hudson Tunnel Project (Gateway Development Corporation) – adding a new tunnel beneath the Hudson River, serving Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor and New Jersey Transit commuters traveling to Penn Station.
  • Newark Penn Station Modernization – revitalizing a major transit hub with modern upgrades while honoring and preserving its historic architecture.

We’re Looking for Someone Who
  • Relationship Builder: Builds and maintains strong relationships with staff, clients, vendors, agencies, and stakeholders to support project success and long-term partnerships. Anticipates and balances client needs.
  • Leader: Successfully manages and grows projects by identifying needs, delegating tasks, providing quality feedback and coaching.
  • Resourceful: Find high-quality solutions quickly and efficiently. Adapt to change and new systems to complete work effectively.
  • Strategic: Anticipates trends, analyzes the big picture, and develops a clear vision and actionable plans.
  • Methodical: Approach tasks with a systematic and orderly process to ensure nothing is overlooked.
  • Exceptional communicator: Identifies and customizes communication based on the audience.
  • Is able to operate in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of Right of Way acquisition experience;
    Must include three (3) years of project management experience.
  • Experience using the Uniform Relocation Act
  • Understanding of project financials
  • Experience creating/maintaining project schedules
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and electronic databases
  • Must own an iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC systems
