About Us
The Forever Foundation (working name) is being established as a US charitable foundation within a wider international philanthropic network focused on supporting effective charitable giving and grant-making.
The organisation works alongside charitable partners in the UK, Canada and internationally to facilitate charitable donations and distribute grants to carefully selected charitable causes.
The OpportunityWe are seeking a US-based volunteer Director / Trustee to join the board during an important stage of development.
This is a governance role rather than an operational position. The successful candidate will help provide oversight, strategic guidance and support the development of the organisation’s governance and banking infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Participate in board meetings and governance activities.
- Review and approve key organisational decisions.
- Support regulatory, compliance and banking requirements where appropriate.
- Provide independent oversight and constructive challenge.
- Act in the best interests of the organisation and its charitable purposes.
We would particularly welcome candidates with experience in:
- Banking or financial services.
- Law, compliance or risk management.
- Accounting, audit or finance.
- Philanthropy or charitable foundations.
- Nonprofit governance or board service.
Previous trustee, director or board experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
LocationPreference will be given to candidates located in:
- Delaware
- Pennsylvania
- New Jersey
- New York
- Maryland
- Washington DC
Approximately 1–2 days per month once established, with some additional time initially to support onboarding and organisational setup.
RemunerationThis is a voluntary governance position. Reasonable expenses may be reimbursed in accordance with organisational policy.
