STEM Assistant Summer Camp Teacher

Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and talented individuals to work as Assistant Instructors in our Summer STEM programs.

Stand in-room with children ages 6‑14 and facilitate STEM activities.

Spend the summer with our students having fun with STEM.

• Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions and reliable transportation
• Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required
• Strong science background with familiarity in experimentation, the scientific method, engineering concepts, and creative thinking
• Available to start online training in May before the start of summer and complete training at your own pace via our online portal
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (no accommodations or sponsorship offered)
• Must be available to work a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday
• Must love working with kids!

• 18 years of age or older
• College students studying education, biology, chemistry, engineering, or other STEM related fields encouraged to apply
• Experience with kids in a formal or informal setting is a plus (e.g., babysitting, volunteering, coaching, tutoring)
• Rate: $15.50/hr to $16.50/hr

• Leader in enrichment education:
  Teach classes in Minecraft, video game creation, movie making, animation, robotics, 3D modeling, STEM, leadership, cooking, and more
• No specific formal experience required – we train teachers, college students, and content area experts on technology and instruction
• Convenient locations – over 30 states with multiple cities
• Flexible scheduling – work 4 to 10 weeks this summer
• Gain valuable experience; previous Rocketeers have worked in academia, animation and game studios, and organizations like the Department of Defense, NASA, the IRS, and FAANG companies
