UNREAL Engine and Robotics Summer Camp Teacher

Position Overview

Lead Instructor for our Summer Technology Programs. Responsible for engaging 6‑ to 14‑year‑old students in hands‑on projects that blend coding, game design, robotics, and digital arts. The role is a seasonal position from June, lasting 4–10 weeks, Monday through Friday.

• Plan, develop, and deliver instruction in game design, coding (Python, JavaScript, Lua), robotics, 3D modeling, animation, or other tech‑focused projects.
• Lead a classroom of up to 12 children solo and up to 25 children with an assistant.
• Manage and safely transfer equipment between sites as needed.
• Encourage and mentor students to innovate, collaborate, and apply critical thinking skills.

• 21 years of age or older.
• College graduate with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology or related field; or significant relevant work experience; graduating seniors with student‑teaching experience are encouraged.
• Experience in game design using the Unreal Engine and/or robotics.
• Comfortable with children in an educational setting; formal teaching experience not required.
• Located within driving distance of a partner region and has reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship provided.
• Can start online training in May.
• Available to work a minimum of four weeks, Monday through Friday.
• Passionate about working with children and wants to inspire creativity through technology.

• Rate: $20/hr to $24/hr, depending on experience, location, and availability.
