- Part time Evenings and Weekends — One River School of Art + Design, Middletown, NJ

• Teach Digital Design Classes and Studio Art Classes: teach weekly art and/or digital art classes from 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays; be available to sub classes on weekends as needed.
• Ensure Student Success: actively engage with students and teachers to observe, document and communicate their progress and opportunities for growth.
• Provide Hospitality Service & Communication: conduct proactive check-ins with parents, students and families; support makeup scheduling; discuss student progress and opportunities for growth; upsell to additional classes/camps.
• Implement One River Methodology Curriculum: review lesson plans/resources on time and implement the One River Method through each class; contribute to lesson plan development regularly.
• Run a best-in-class studio: maintain the digital lab; clean and organize studio spaces and student artwork; oversee digital lab maintenance.

• BA/BS in Visual Art, Art Education or Design (Master’s a plus) or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years experience teaching visual arts for K–12 and/or adults. Digital art skills in the Adobe Suite and Procreate.
• Track record of high-quality instruction, classroom management, and student progress.
• Clear communicator, organized, and energized by a busy studio environment.
• Passion for art history, contemporary art and a “students-first” mindset.

• This is a Part time position with afternoon, evening and weekend teaching hours
• Pay rate is between $25 and $35 per hour depending on experience
