LEAD IT Project Manager; Hybrid

Leads, coordinates and manages - with the staff involved - the planning, organization and implementation of IT projects.

• Managing project processes, delivery targets, deadlines, and compliance. Tracking overall project performance and productivity.
• Monitoring of project scope, plans, costs, schedules, progress, deliverables, staffing and resource requirements.
• Reviewing project designs, approved methodologies, resource allocation, and estimates; and suggesting improvements if any.
• Addressing internal or external issues / impediments, ensuring smooth cross-functional communication (internal and/or external) and supervising team(s) of individual contributors and/or supervisor(s).
• Working with project sponsors to define/adjust the budget as needed and tracking financial planned vs actual recovery per fiscal quarters.
• Presenting project status to the PMO and major stakeholders, including steering committees.
• Delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel across the project team.
• Ensuring project deliverables are complete, per DES PM guidelines, for each gate approval.
• Identifying project benefits/value and work with the sponsor/stakeholders to ensure the benefits will be realized post-delivery.
• Leading process improvement through contributions to the PM Playbook, PM council, and lessons learned.
• Leading PMO Council and mentoring other project managers for best practices.

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience;
Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level.

• PMP or SCRUM Master certification.
• Tools
  - Planisware, Microsoft tools like Excel, ppt.
• Skilled in project management tools and software, including Microsoft Project or Planisware.
• Knowledgeable in software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $120,000 – 145,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location).
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
