Registered Nurse

Key responsibilities include:

Assessment of youth upon admission and as needed

Administration of medication

Document in Electronic MAR.Nurse group education with youths.

Communicate with residential staff and report information for care of youth.

Document health issues in electronic record

Arrange medical appointments for the youth.

Engage with youth during shift.

Attend Team meetings/Nursing meetings as scheduled.

Review and audit charts for compliance with Office of Licensing.

Communicate on Daily Electronic Report for each shift.

Communicate with Psychiatrist as needed.

Train staff for in-services as related to care of youth's needs.

Other assigned duties, assignments and responsibilities as required under scope of professional license.

Hours:

Part-time; flexible Monday - Friday; occasional weekend shifts as needed.

Part-time benefits include:

NJ Earned Sick Time Time and one half paid on Agency holidays

Education/

Experience:

Minimum of three years’ nursing experience or psychiatric nursing experience. Current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey required.

Experience with children/adolescents.
