** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and vendors at the front desk while carrying out site-specific procedures and other security-related protocols.

+ Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with location guidelines.

+ Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to the appropriate personnel when needed.

+ Support front desk operations by answering questions, providing directions, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating clearly with staff and guests.

+ Observe activity at entry points and waiting areas, report unusual behavior or policy violations, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Compliance with hospital vaccine requirements is required.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
