Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles and practice in broad areas of complex technical project work
• Perform architecture, design, development, and deployment of systems supporting network solutions critical
• Lead efforts to consolidate multiple network configuration management applications into a unified, efficient, and scalable solution
• Gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create design specifications, and work with engineers/architects
• Design and code software applications by applying various programming languages and network protocols
• Develop solutions to integrate mainframe-based legacy systems with modern non-mainframe architectures
• Develop and implement AI/ML-driven solutions to enhance automation, improve accuracy, and optimize network provisioning processes
• Create innovative Agentic AI technologies to enable autonomous decision-making and adaptability in network configuration and provisioning systems
• Develop and implement automated test plans, validate test environments, data, and results, design and implement code fixes, and produce reporting
• Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to cross-functional teams
• Use continuous integration continuous deployment principals along with using Agile development methodologies
