Lead Preschool Teacher (Full-Time)
The Learning Experience of Middletown Middletown, NY The Learning Experience of Middletown is seeking an experienced, structured, and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to join our growing center. As enrollment continues to increase, we are looking for a serious early childhood professional who understands that the preschool years are foundational for kindergarten readiness, independence, and long-term academic success. This is not a babysitting role.
This is a leadership position within a structured early learning environment. We are seeking someone who understands daycare operations, values routine and classroom management, and thrives under clear expectations and strong leadership. Qualifications (One of the Following Required)
- CDA (Preschool)
- Currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education
Prior experience working in a licensed daycare setting is strongly preferred. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate:
- Has experience leading or co-leading a preschool classroom
- Understands curriculum planning and kindergarten readiness skills
- Thrives on structure, routine, and classroom management

- Is dependable and punctual
- Is passionate about helping children grow academically and socially

- Lead and manage a structured preschool classroom
- Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
- Support early literacy, math, and social-emotional development
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant classroom environment
- Track developmental progress and classroom documentation
- Communicate professionally with families
- Collaborate with administration and team members to maintain high standards
