Maintenance Technician
Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the NY Maintenance Department supporting the manufacturing plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $30+
Shift: Multiple schedules available
8-hour and 12-hour shifts
Weekday and weekend schedules
Day, evening, and overnight shifts
What's the Job?
- Ensure that all production machines are operational and working according to OEM standards and safety requirements.
- Implement, maintain, and support company policies, safety programs, and good housekeeping practices.
- Coordinate maintenance work to minimize machine downtime and support production needs.
- Report safety, quality, and operational issues to the Maintenance Manager.
- Assist in solving production problems that cannot be resolved at the supervisory level.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED with basic reading, writing, and math skills at a 10th-grade level.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Knowledge of equipment design, capabilities, and quality standards.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a loud, sometimes hazardous environment.
