Maintenance Technician

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the NY Maintenance Department supporting the manufacturing plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Shift:
** Multiple schedules available

+ 8-hour and 12-hour shifts

+ Weekday and weekend schedules

+ Day, evening, and overnight shifts

** What's the Job?*
* + Ensure that all production machines are operational and working according to OEM standards and safety requirements.

+ Implement, maintain, and support company policies, safety programs, and good housekeeping practices.

+ Coordinate maintenance work to minimize machine downtime and support production needs.

+ Report safety, quality, and operational issues to the Maintenance Manager.

+ Assist in solving production problems that cannot be resolved at the supervisory level.

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma or GED with basic reading, writing, and math skills at a 10th-grade level.

+ Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Basic computer skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.

+ Knowledge of equipment design, capabilities, and quality standards.

+ Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a loud, sometimes hazardous environment.
