Laboratory Technician

• Prep and evaluate test specimens
• Report results of test specimens
• Keep records and post specimen results
• Ensure that all necessary laboratory equipment is functioning properly, and all supplies are available
• Ensure the lab is kept in a clean and orderly fashion
• Ensure that all applicable laboratory paperwork is current
• Train any future Lab Techs
• Involvement in CORE continuous improvement initiatives – utilize CORE tools.
• Help maintain world class safety culture and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly.
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Management Team.
• Mechanical ability
• Ability to read work instructions and blueprints
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible
• Prior experience in a lab environment is a plus
• Currently trained as an Inspector helpful, but not necessary
• Computer skills helpful
• Ability to work overtime when necessary
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Quality Excellence and strong work ethic
• Quick learner, self-starter
• Able to work as part of a team

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
