REQUIREMENTS
- Current NYS License as a Registered Nurse Current Certification in CPR

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in pediatric and/or community or public health nursing

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the health needs of students and staff. Administer medications and treatments per medical orders and parental written authorization based on district policy. Follow communicable disease control procedures and inform and advise administration and/or parents regarding school exclusion and re-admission. Provide care for student illnesses and accidents according to school policies and protocols during the school day.

Plan with administrators, teachers, and other school personnel to modify the school environment for children with special health care needs. Responsible for all follow-up on in-school physical examination referrals. Customary duties associated with the position

SALARY - $66,171 - $67,790 (Salary Range)
