In this role, you will support access control activities, communicate clearly with guests and staff, and bring a caring, agile, reliable, and integrity-driven approach through teamwork every day.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with store personnel, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity within the location, report suspicious behavior, and document incidents according to site procedures.
• Support loss prevention and access control efforts by observing high-traffic areas, checking authorized access points, and reporting policy violations and/or operational concerns.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
