Forklift Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shift
Our client, a leading organization in the industrial sector, is seeking dedicated Forklift Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shift to join their dynamic team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety awareness, reliability, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location:
Middletown, NY
Pay Range: $21.80/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm, Alternating Saturdays) / 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday, 11pm-7am, Alternating Sundays)
What's the Job?
- Operate forklifts and other lifting devices to move, load, unload, and stack materials, products, and goods safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Manage inventory by accurately storing, organizing, and tracking materials within storage areas, updating records as needed.
- Load and unload materials from trailers, trucks, and other transport vehicles, ensuring secure handling.
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, securing loads properly, and reporting any safety concerns promptly.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in forklift operation and inventory management.
- Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent teamwork skills.
