Job OverviewThis position manages all aspects of a global product line or portfolio, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing and sales. Responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans in order to meet sales revenue and gross margin targets.

Job Duties:
Market Sensing & Strategy Development- Articulate market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Conduct market segmentation exercises to develop market segment-specific strategies.
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking.
- Define segment–specific value propositions that beat the competition.
- Develop product roadmaps that align with business strategy.
- Design the go-to-market strategy, including channel strategy and partnerships.
- Work with R&D and operations to develop new products that meet current and future customer requirements.
- Manage the product lifecycle.
- Define resource requirements necessary to execute the product roadmap.
- Work cross-functionally to define sales, technology, and operations strategies and goals aligned with financial goals. Build consensus on specific tasks.
- Establish pricing policy.
- Develop the annual operating plan (Sales and gross or standard margin).
- Be the opportunity champion for PAC projects.
- Plans product launches, including the development of marketing and sales plans.
- Provides demand forecast inputs to S&OP.
- Attend customer meetings in support of winning new business.
- Exercise through leadership.
- Provide inputs to Marcom for the development of collateral, including e-commerce.
- Manage the P&L (sales and gross or standard margin) for the assigned portfolio.
- Deliver sustained profitable growth.
- Enable sales to promote the product line through training and collateral that articulate the value proposition.
- Manage special price requests.
- Track progress to the business plan and facilitate resolution of gaps.
- Be the champion for the resolution of product issues (e.g., quality, delivery, etc.).

- Sales Revenue
- Gross Margin $ and GM %
- Manage NPI new product introductions on time and within budget
- Cost reduction targets
- Forecast accuracy
- Inventory turns
- Delivery (STR)
- Customer Complaints
Experience required
- 10+ years or above of product management or sales/field application experience
- 5+ years of experience in commercial or technical roles in home appliances
- 5+ years or above of managing direct reports experience
- Strong relevant products (connector) or industry experience desired
- Strong commercial and technical skills background
- Highly engaged team members, with the capabilities of dealing with challenges
- Bachelor's degree or above in electronics background is preferred
- MBA is a plus

- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $163,800 - $245,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
