Position SummaryWe are seeking a confident, knowledgeable, and passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to lead a preschool classroom. The Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing curriculum, managing the classroom environment, mentoring assistant teachers, and fostering strong partnerships with families. This role requires a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to professional growth.
Education Requirement (Mandatory)- Must be currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education (ECE) program
- Must have already completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Previous experience leading or co-leading a preschool classroom
- Strong understanding of preschool development and kindergarten readiness skills
- Ability to meet state licensing and TLE requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Lead and manage a preschool classroom in alignment with TLE standards and state regulations
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
- Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental progress
- Supervise, mentor, and support assistant teachers
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Build strong, professional relationships with families through regular communication
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
