About the role
This Financial Analyst is part of the global scheme fees team ensuring fee bulletins are communicated and related fees are implemented for billing, as well as monitoring fees being billed by the networks/schemes. You will have your finger on the financial pulse of the entire organization. Working with a diverse team, you’ll be responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control.
The position will be in a hybrid environment based in our Cincinnati location (3 days per week in office).
- Assist with Network Fee Change implementations.
- Identify and analyze network fee changes.
- Create and submit project requests to IT.
- Perform testing validation of project requests.
- Perform live validation of project requests.
- Create impact analysis by customer for relationship partners.
- Communicate changes to internal business partners.
- Assist with maintenance of Network Fee Schedules on internal website.
- Perform maintenance on existing schedules and reports for changes.
- Create and update documentation of network special pricing.
- Perform Manual Billing as Needed.
- Stay informed on Network Updates.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge base.
- Document, evaluate and improve design of reports and processes.
- Analyze business performance and recommend improvements.
- Establish, foster and maintain working relationships with peers and management.
- Attend meetings with peers to maintain knowledge of current and emerging issues and risks.
- Be an active participant in process improvement and problem resolution.
- Resolve wide range of issues creatively using data.
- Influence business partners and provide insightful analytics.
- Work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required, Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and company accounting policies.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools.
- Analytical and statistical examination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met.
