Join the Centerpoint Health Team as an OB/GYN Medical Assistant or LPN
Centerpoint Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Franklin and Middletown, OH. We provide primary health care, OB/GYN, and behavioral health services. We are seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and passionate full‑time Medical Assistant or LPN with OB/GYN and family practice experience to join our highly regarded and growing practice.
Responsibilities- Room patients, determine reasons for visit, take medical histories, record vital signs, and prepare patients for exams.
- Collect and prepare lab specimens, perform basic lab tests, and sterilize medical equipment.
- Assist providers with procedures and draw blood.
- Clean, prepare, and break down exam rooms, pre‑ and post‑treatment.
- Answer and return patient calls; complete other front‑ and back‑office functions as needed.
- Process prescription refills, conduct prior authorizations, and pre‑certifications.
- Collect, enter, and track patient data within the electronic record and other databases without errors.
- Assist with referrals to other services, including secondary care, hospital, ER, and other providers.
- Perform registration and scheduling activities.
- Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality standards and all regulatory requirements.
- Perform other functions as assigned.
Current unrestricted LPN license or a Medical Assistant diploma.
ExperienceMinimum of 1 year of clinical experience with OB/GYN and family practice.
Additional Skills / Qualifications- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Understanding and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Experience in a community health setting preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office; knowledge of Electronic Health Records preferred.
- Ability to spend significant time standing and use required equipment.
- Position contingent upon successful credentialing, background check, and drug screen.

In person in Franklin, OH 45005 and Middletown, OH 45042. Must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
