Surgical Services - CVOR Tech

Open Heart Surgical Technologist

Shift: Days 4x10s
• Length: 13 Weeks
• Call:
At minimum 1-2 days a week and minimum one weekend a month (Fri-Sun)
• 8 OR suites

MUST HAVE OPEN HEART EXPERIENCE and BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ALL OTHER SERVICE LINES (general, gyn, vascular, urology, podiatry, ortho, spine)

Start: 2/16/2026 Certified Tech Preferred but not required. CVOR Team will float between Miami Valley Hospital and Atrium Medical Center Campus

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
  
  High School graduate or GED required. Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology (civilian or military), Associate of Arts Degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited technical or Liberal Arts College or 10 plus years' experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Certification:
  Current CPR certification. Certification as a Surgical Technologist under the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist by graduating from a CAAHEP and passing a national certification examination (CST) OR, certification under the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or certification under the Armed Forces (military) Program

FLOATING REQUIREMENTS:
Open Heart RNs & Surg Techs will flex to float (at Premier's discretion) between Miami Valley Hospital (MVH) and Atrium Medical Center (AMC)
