Shift: Full‑Time – Days 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Atrium Medical Center

Responsibilities

Coverage of both the AMC and MVH IR departments. Independently performs Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. Works under scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure for medications, equipment operation, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and activities of the IR department. Exercises professional judgment to maintain equipment, may perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs and may have on‑call responsibilities.

    1 – 3 years of job‑related experience
  • Prior job title or occupational experience:
    Radiologic Technologist
  • Preferred experience:

    3 years of progressive Radiologic Technology experience
Knowledge / Skills
  • Human anatomy
  • Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Proficient in Radiology Information System (RIS) and Image Storage
  • Knowledge of advanced IR computer applications
  • Radiation Safety
