Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 6147 West OH 122, Ste 111, Middletown, OH 45005.

Work Schedule:

Monday‑Friday 7:30am‑4:00pm, Saturday rotation.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist

• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience

• Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency if work experience is not available
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test

Pay Range: $17.75 - $25.92 per hour.

Benefits:
Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all of the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.

Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
