- PRN: hours vary: 7am - 3:30pm | 2 weekend Days per Month

The Licensed Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients. This individual will provide direct patient care and will monitor and report the patient’s progress. The OT performs occupational therapy treatment on a one-to-one or group basis for patients with orthopedic, neurological and other physically disabling impairments. Completes required documentation and provides appropriate patient and/or family teaching.
The OT will also participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. This position is responsible for maintaining certification and/or licensure, achieving all continuing education requirements, demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.
EducationDegree in occupational therapy from an accredited OT program.
LicensureCurrent occupational therapy license in State of Ohio. Maintains CEUs for licensure renewal.
CertificationBLS certification required within 30 days of hire
ExperienceMay be a recent graduate with a generalist background. Prefer a minimum of one-year experience.
Skills/Other- Demonstrates knowledge base and skill in providing age specific care.
