Systems Support Manager Senior

Responsibilities

Assigns and monitors work of the team providing technical and analytical support and direction.

Interfaces with external clients or employees on technical matters as needed.

Provides leadership for the area of responsibility, including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development, and mentoring.

Consults with management to analyze information technology needs and determine scope, objectives, and priorities of technical projects, technical systems capacity, budgeting requirements, and IT acquisitions.

Escalation point of contact for production impacting incidents and provides technical direction and escalation to other support groups as needed.

Broad knowledge of information technology functions including information systems design and development, systems planning, programming, operations, architecture, data processing, data security, networks, systems support, and analysis.

Excellent decision‑making, problem‑solving, organization, prioritization, team‑building, conflict management, and time‑management skills.

Proven project management skills for multiple large and/or complex projects (e.g., projects involving many activities and deliverables or that have a major impact or risk/value to the organization).
